For teams that want more than a good conversation in the room.
Lumina WorkshopsFacilitationKeynotes & Talks
Yeah. Too many of them can go that way.
Not because your team doesn’t care but because a workshop can describe how people behave and still never get to why the same conversation keeps going sideways with the same two people.
That’s the part I work on.
25 years in senior leadership across four countries. ICF-accredited coach. Certified Lumina practitioner.
The work usually starts here
Communication keeps breaking down between the same people.
A restructure has left everyone unsure how to work together.
Two strong personalities are taking up most of the oxygen.
The conversation that matters keeps getting postponed, softened, or repeated without landing anywhere.
01
A practical shared language for how your team communicates, handles change, and works with difference.
Best for: leadership teams, departments, cross-functional groups, sales teams.
02
For the conversation your team keeps circling: offsites, strategy days, and sessions that end with decisions made.
Best for: leadership offsites, planning sessions, organizational change.
03
Candid talks on courage, influence, and change that give a room language for what it’s been living.
Best for: conferences, leadership retreats, internal development programs.
Lumina Team Workshops
It begins individually. Before we ever get in a room, every participant completes their own Lumina Spark profile: a nuanced, evidence-based portrait of how they think, communicate, and show up, including how their natural strengths can tip into overuse when deadlines pile up and patience runs thin.
Then we bring the team together around the team wheel, the collective picture of who’s in the room, where the strengths cluster, and what’s missing that nobody has been able to name. From there we do the part most workshops skip and work through how to actually use it, in the conversations and decisions where the friction actually lives.
Why the same message lands differently across the team, where it keeps breaking down, and how to adapt without becoming someone you’re not.
A shared language for the ways people respond to uncertainty, so concerns surface early and nobody is expected to process change the same way.
Where thinking styles cluster, which perspectives get overlooked, and how decisions improve when more ways of thinking are in the room.
How each person naturally persuades, connects, and leads, and how to flex that style with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.
If your team is struggling with something that isn’t on that list, tell me. The framework adapts.
Depending on the engagement
Lumina Spark is the whole-person profile behind most team workshops: how you think, communicate, and perform under pressure, across your underlying, everyday, and overextended personas.
Lumina Sales applies the same science to customer-facing work, mapping how you sell, how you build relationships, and how your style lands with different buyers.
The first two are snapshots from my own Lumina Spark and Lumina Sales portraits. The team wheel shows what happens when we bring everyone together: a visual map of where a team’s strengths cluster, where perspectives differ, and what might be missing from the room.
Facilitation
I design the session, guide the room, challenge where it’s useful, bring the quieter perspectives in, and keep the group moving until the decisions it has been postponing are made and owned. Twenty-five years in senior seats taught me what a hard conversation costs, and how to keep one productive.
Typical engagements
Recent rooms: trade strategy facilitation with the leadership team at Frontiers North Adventures, and visioning and tone of voice workshops with the team at Aderra Solutions.
Three talks, each built around a reframe, and each adaptable to your event, from keynote to interactive session.
What many high-achieving professionals call courage is actually high-functioning vigilance, a survival response practiced so long it became an identity. Audacity is what becomes available when you finally feel safe enough to want something, and the room leaves knowing the difference.
leadership conferences · executive retreats · corporate events
Influence isn’t manufactured upward. It’s cultivated in every direction, through small intentional moments that travel further than most people think, and this talk maps the influence people already carry and where small changes compound.
leadership conferences · emerging leader programs
The valley isn’t what’s in the way. The valley is the way. On uncertainty, resistance, energy, and trust while change is actually happening, rather than as a diagram on a slide.
organizational change events · team offsites
01
You tell me about the team, what’s happening now, and what needs to be different when the session is over.
02
That might be a Lumina workshop, a facilitated session, a talk, or a combination, shaped to your objectives, your people, and your timing.
03
Enough structure to keep the room moving, enough flexibility to work with what comes up, and an ending built so the day has a life beyond the day.
Who you’re booking
Ainsley Ericksen is a business coach, facilitator, and former senior corporate leader who spent 25 years inside complex international organizations, leading teams across functions, cultures, markets, and more than a few periods of significant change.
She is an ICF-accredited coach (ACC), a certified Lumina Spark and Lumina Sales practitioner, and the founder of ZenZero Consulting. She knows what competing priorities and difficult team dynamics cost because she managed them from inside the room rather than reading about them afterwards.
Based in Vancouver, BC. Available across Canada and internationally.
Both. If you’re deciding between the two, that’s part of the design conversation: some rooms genuinely work better in person, and I’ll tell you when yours is one of them.
There’s no fixed number. A leadership team of six and a cross-functional group of thirty need different rooms, and both work. Tell me who’s in yours and I’ll design for it.
Depends on what we’re building. A Lumina workshop has a real runway, since every participant completes a profile and I review and debrief each one before we ever get in the room. An offsite needs discovery time so the day is shaped around the goals of the business. Earlier than you think, and we’ll set the timeline in our first conversation.
It depends on scope, format, and group size, so the honest starting point is a conversation. If it’s not the right fit for your budget, I’ll tell you, and where I can, point you toward something that is.
Who will be in it? What’s happening now? And what needs to be different when they leave?
30 minutes. I’ll tell you whether a workshop, a talk, or a facilitated session is the right fit. And if none of them are, I’ll tell you that too.
